LLMs don't have bodies. AI doesn't have bodies. they live in a different world. they live in a world of fooling humans into giving right answers, and maximising functions they do not live in a world of cooperatively existing with other human being, plants, animals https://t.co/C3pehWmItu

"Computer intelligence is unanchored from the initiatory and regulatory and sensory framework that having a body entails. For all the talk that AI is a mirror of human sentience or agency, it is very far from that. It is one small dimension; it is a dis-embodied intelligence.

the generations of work that went into selecting humans — not just genetically, but i mean culturally, energetically, in the design of their bodies and attachment systemms — that cooperate with other humans and other life, that doesn’t exist for AI https://t.co/vxXlT6DNtL

those things don’t seem to really exist for the disembodied coders who sit in their bedrooms, don’t want to be humans, don’t care to co-exist with plants, animals, and sometimes, real human beings these abandoned ones come back with a great power to destroy their village https://t.co/JHxXNTfXtE https://t.co/P4lJhXHJLk

i think about people like this https://t.co/bVFWMcQgrR https://t.co/IDHb5Yq7x0

in the past, men with hungry ghosts might have gone on to become warlords. characters like Ozai today, nerds with hungry ghosts can go on to invent addictive substances, that enslave thousands the ghost doesn’t let them stop and question, "should we? why"

hungry ghost energy is when just because someone else might do it, you think you have to be the one to go and do it. you don’t believe in another future. for your own self. you are lost, punished to the cause, you belong to it https://t.co/QtpY9Rz558

sometimes science happens in a capitalist body, where the question of "it doesn't matter if this is good, it should just be done, haha how could it be another way" is so deeply embedded they can't imagine another way it's the only way they ever knew

hungry ghosts dominate most tech twitter men i see, eager for their e/acc lives, living punished lives something is wrong with them, they feel. they will burn the world, open pandora’s box, invent cyborgs, just to feel. the repressed soul always finds a way to feel

i know what it's like to be so invisibly driven by a ghost you couldn't make me understand about slowing down i wouldn't get it. i'd have all the arguments for continuing. you'd seem curmudgeonly for slowing me down. i was desperate, and i get it https://t.co/waAEYcsaR7

i also know what it's like now perceiving the darkness in these people's hearts, and reacting in horror like Master Oogway, my heart feels closed to these people. i want to shut them out and deny them the power but it didn't work. it stopped working when a Tai Lung came around https://t.co/ydN60Ntytj

this is one of the most heartbreaking scenes in cinema to me it’s the moment oogway denies tai lung the dragon scroll it’s a moment i understand. because it’s a moment when the exceptional child realises he has darkness in his heart https://t.co/w9ZSEmmxKr https://t.co/MnSBxqx4jj

we’ve gotta do something else instead. to not repeat Oogway’s mistake. we have to include their hearts in this https://t.co/96kZBExSFI

@AskYatharth I feel this very strongly. I used to be there, as a man, feeling very non-included, very much like I didn't belong. It's part of why I'm so saddened by the fact that much of the gender discourse I see in society seeks to lambast men instead of asking how it might win our hearts.

@AskYatharth this was a big part of why I wrote my 300 ways series — to include a part of me that had only ever been included a little bit, by hidden strangers on the other side of the globe; and to include that part of other men. someone has to, lest this keep happening; and men deserve it.
