#eggs Lunch 12 eggs, Adobo, Parsley, Black Pepper, Paprika, Dijon Mustard, Garlic Hummus. Not shown: Scoop of Collagen Peptides, and some Turmeric powder. One day I want to be able to make all these ingredients on my own. https://t.co/QgSBFBlSqZ

I also ate another bag of eggs yesterday night (6ct) and earlier this morning (6ct). Spreading the 36 eggs out over a longer period of time to account for sedentary lifestyle.

I used to buy eggs in bulk and freeze them to get <$0.10 each. Felt really bad getting the pre-made boiled eggs, but my options for cooking them are sparse at the moment.https://t.co/o7LMcbYgDB

Like most things in our universe, what we're really talking about is exchanging on a trade off of time/space/energy. It costs time and energy to concentrate milk, but you get out of it a lower space to store it, and higher resistance to entropic decay.

Glass front-ed wine and drink chillers, that have the ability to adjust temperature, can be a great way to store a large amount of store-bought eggs for a fairly low price. They are currently on sale at BJs wholesale club. #justsaying https://t.co/TMyHHyUM5z https://t.co/kiwGDlGsWQ

I tried a cayenne tincture on my new friend's recommendation during one of my meltdowns and it gave me the ability to speak back! All my muscles relaxed, and while I was still in a hyper vigilant state, I wasn't trapped in my own head and my narrowing of vision reversed. Crying.

So apparently Almark Foods (they make "Eggland's best") has done a voluntary recall on hard-boiled eggs due to A Listeria Monocytogenes contamination they found in some. These show up in a ton of egg based products. It thrives while chilled.https://t.co/u2tbr2SOF7

Does anybody know if UPC information for food recalls is available via an API? It would be fun to cross correlate historical health problems against stuff like lettuce & dairy infections.

I'm not a big fan of the idea of my purchases being tracked, but it was interesting that I got a letter in the mail from BJ's saying that they saw I bought some and that there was a recall.https://t.co/N2QXvPZ09y note: product 404's, they don't have them on shelves anymore!

BJ's wholesale club is really good at predicting when we run out of toilet paper. I bet they could guess how many people are in our household from how many items we buy. I should figure out if I can make them think we have children and see if I can get baby food coupons, lol.

I am getting mixed suggestions on how long a hard boiled egg can survive in the fridge. Obviously steaming/heating them weakens their shell's protection, but I can't tell if this effect changes depending on store vs fresh.

@The_Lagrangian I find they store well in reusable silicon bags (meant to replace ziplock plastic throw-aways). Portion it out and freeze em, then just leave it in the fridge for breakfast in the morning and they're ready to go. Stores quite compactly due to flexibility before freezing.
