#eggs Lunch 12 eggs, Adobo, Parsley, Black Pepper, Paprika, Dijon Mustard, Garlic Hummus. Not shown: Scoop of Collagen Peptides, and some Turmeric powder. One day I want to be able to make all these ingredients on my own. https://t.co/QgSBFBlSqZ

I used to buy eggs in bulk and freeze them to get <$0.10 each. Felt really bad getting the pre-made boiled eggs, but my options for cooking them are sparse at the moment.https://t.co/o7LMcbYgDB

Glass front-ed wine and drink chillers, that have the ability to adjust temperature, can be a great way to store a large amount of store-bought eggs for a fairly low price. They are currently on sale at BJs wholesale club. #justsaying https://t.co/TMyHHyUM5z https://t.co/kiwGDlGsWQ

I have not been taking supplements for a few days & have been eating poorly. Been trying to induce autism meltdown to test a tincture.Eggs as a wholesome healthy reward for enduring self-torture.Also, it worked... Still sucked eggs, but I had my voice!https://t.co/5BMsz24j7s

I tried a cayenne tincture on my new friend's recommendation during one of my meltdowns and it gave me the ability to speak back! All my muscles relaxed, and while I was still in a hyper vigilant state, I wasn't trapped in my own head and my narrowing of vision reversed. Crying.

So apparently Almark Foods (they make "Eggland's best") has done a voluntary recall on hard-boiled eggs due to A Listeria Monocytogenes contamination they found in some. These show up in a ton of egg based products. It thrives while chilled.https://t.co/u2tbr2SOF7

"it was only recently that convincing evidence was obtained that this organism can cause acute, self-limited, febrile gastroenteritis in healthy persons."(TL;DR: it causes diarrhea, lol)https://t.co/XV852jWCYNFun to find out after the fact. No wonder I thought I had the flu.

I'm not a big fan of the idea of my purchases being tracked, but it was interesting that I got a letter in the mail from BJ's saying that they saw I bought some and that there was a recall.https://t.co/N2QXvPZ09y note: product 404's, they don't have them on shelves anymore!

BJ's wholesale club is really good at predicting when we run out of toilet paper. I bet they could guess how many people are in our household from how many items we buy. I should figure out if I can make them think we have children and see if I can get baby food coupons, lol.

Fun: exploring balajis's tweets to mine for companies that may be offering direct-to-consumer (localized/point-of-consumption) food testing.Find this company that is literally advertising themselves on listeria prevention. https://t.co/wMTmFUkUpphttps://t.co/h8ciZdsrfO

I want an app that lets local communities crowd-source food quality data and work to undo the ways that outside influence causes food quality to decline.https://t.co/m6JF9jxgKH

Fuck your data silos, if you won't let us see what is in our food without paying money to some gatekeeper, we can just get around that by testing on site.https://t.co/BfSvJl2cKI

Ok google. How do I grow lentils in a small space.https://t.co/vdL61EDo3v

Ok, this time there will be less listeria. https://t.co/jgXloORV0n

Did you know that historically, chicken eggs were smaller and tended to be produced only at certain time a year?35 eggs a day may need to be adjusted proportionally to historic egg sizes and nutrient levels.https://t.co/osLwFZVW0ihttps://t.co/F9OYZ6bAtt

Been learning about 1800's era egg preservation methods after finding out that naturally chickens don't lay eggs all year long.In an ideal world I would also be eating about 10 eggs a day.https://t.co/s19sy5bxTn

I found out that an instant pot ( actually a clone https://t.co/tlZD3JxSPG ) can steam hard-boil 2.5 dozen eggs at a time, using minimal energy.7 days of breakfasts in less than 20 minutes!

This is a big brain move.https://t.co/f6PUddZzIM

> "those with health issues, including diabetes, who are eating six-12 eggs per week didn’t have a negative effect on the total blood cholesterol levels or heart disease risk factors, rather it increased [...] the “good” cholesterol." https://t.co/PjkiP9AeKDEat up.

Eat eggs.https://t.co/Oy4l9LyciU

> Researchers found that people who ate an egg every day had an 18% lower risk of dying from cardiovascular disease and a 28% lower risk of experiencing a deadly hemorrhagic stroke, compared with people who didn't eat eggs. [2018]https://t.co/WAdJHWO9QHhttps://t.co/vGakz5aiQf

Eggs are good.https://t.co/fpUNGPMO4S

Egg Egg Egghttps://t.co/WgKpVjMs3k

@J_Killa_ @ResilientDad @TheRootCauseCo If you plan to eat 36 eggs a day to help restore gut function by hyper-loading on PEA and reverse Crohn's disease associated intestinal degradation, be sure to avoid pre-cooked. They can give you listeria if your bile is poorly.Speaking from experience.https://t.co/NtIJ5bAhS1

Egg => PEAhttps://t.co/XdzxVr1Ivh

@raphaels7 @_gg_eashwarran @Kevin_McKernan I'm not going to begin to suggest I understand what is going on here, but it looks like PEA helps get immune cells to the damaged site quickly and that ends up neutralizing inflammation ala this https://t.co/HHqDeTTuLV

Ok cool, but what about ...720... egg?https://t.co/0qB6EK67EV

Have you tired... MOAR eggs?https://t.co/cCsu0UD99q

Maybe with some garlic and kefir.https://t.co/kr6bBWC17Q

I literally moved to a new place once so I could feed my GF 6 eggs a day.https://t.co/tFbUWWMB84

She no longer has type II diabetes and is off her Statin drugs. Curious.https://t.co/jwGN71Ke7h

I figured out a way to buy and cook eggs here.I am going to freeze them pre-portioned in reusable zip lock silicone bags, thaw them in the fridge the night before, and boil them in the bag.https://t.co/MQF3Zunf5RShould minimize cleanup and keep them safe from contamination.

Having them pre-de-shelled and in a microwave safe bag avoids the shrapnel ;)https://t.co/yIaqCVKDiD

Boil-in-bag eggs. Let's goo.https://t.co/HY5VvWT85M

@The_Lagrangian I find they store well in reusable silicon bags (meant to replace ziplock plastic throw-aways). Portion it out and freeze em, then just leave it in the fridge for breakfast in the morning and they're ready to go. Stores quite compactly due to flexibility before freezing.

Ok cool, you heard about chicken farming.Have you tried emu?https://t.co/jIce4UPqyX

@sonyasupposedly 1) Get more chickens2) Realize you need to protect 'em from rats3) Be sad that you have to kill rats, so find a way to harvest them to feed chickens.4) Start growing BSF to digest flesh and generate chicken grubs.5) Learn bout bone meal?) ???6) Now you're a farmer.

Washing it down with some Kefir that has sugars to promote Akkermancia muciniphila.https://t.co/8SsolNdbzqhttps://t.co/cmETFwWNcN https://t.co/nfYLAPgwsN

Do you know what else correlates with 'symptom severity'? Gut problems."Elevated plasma levels of TMAO were associated with ASD and symptom severity."https://t.co/rkdmX8XAWV

@Grimhood @g_blueskies Well... there are studies that suggest high fiber diet helps, but they are all focused on plant based fiber producing of butyrate. If collagen peptides does butyrate as well, it makes sense.TMA/TMAO Might be a good biomarker https://t.co/iT9yGdb8xA

Ya'll wanna kill some Helicobacter Pylori with me anon?https://t.co/xeW9Ma7DEe

"Presence of Helicobacter pylori significantly influences gastric microbiota and results in lower abundance of multiple taxonomic levels in children. Meanwhile, it affects gastric immune environment and promotes the occurrence of gastritis."https://t.co/DDBCwj04qg

One of the interesting mixes is a Japanese breakfast. Often includes egg and wasabi/mustard or a radish... and often a dried fish.https://t.co/KkE5F6wK0uhttps://t.co/NZcfy74DId

You can get really fancy.https://t.co/TulULt7k9G

Or fairly simple.https://t.co/Ox9krdznvI

On one of our first dates, my weeb GF made me Tamagoyaki, and some of those little octopus hotdogs.Thinking a lot about doing that again.https://t.co/f1D68ZHiSP

I mean it, go get that wasabi anon.> "These results suggest that certain components besides [Allyl isothiocyanate] in wasabi are effective in killing H. pylori." https://t.co/wzIp2IXfv6https://t.co/ocBjAEKIfZ

> "But here's the rub: That tangy paste served up at nearly all sushi bars — even the ones in Japan — is almost certainly an impostor. Far more common than the real thing is a convincing fraud, usually made of ordinary white horseradish, dyed green."https://t.co/jSoNdHI1tN

Wait... you mean a plant kills Helicobacter Pylori might fight Alzheimer? Who could have guessed...https://t.co/9gLILRU0hC

Have you considered... egg?https://t.co/1PFU2CveHg

Fun fact: for most of the later half of 2022 I fed my GF 3-6 eggs and ate 6 eggs a day myself for breakfast.Eggs are healing to the gut.https://t.co/yYBTTxzt66

What if we ate more egg? https://t.co/My5Wr0rAJA
