this sort of example is hilariously whiplash-inducing, but in a way we are all like this, made up of conflicting sub-selves, conflicting interests, needy for X and resentful for being needy

in the extreme case, it's very difficult to have a meaningful relationship with anybody who's this conflicted, because literally anything you do or don't do becomes swept up into the crossfire of their internal conflict

and the challenge is seeing how difficult it is to live with ourselves when we are like this too šŸ‰ want (love, desire, longing) šŸŒ€ do not want (fear, disgust, aversion) ā›µļø ayy https://t.co/cLpQFc4h1N

I also think that being honest with ourselves about these internal conflicts makes it easier to appreciate and also navigate external conflicts this is where the power of the humor of "ayy lmao" really comes through https://t.co/3CcNgEEoQz

the first step to cease being an unintegrated wannabe is to accept that you are one, and will always be one. and to see the beauty, humor, joy and humility in that

also circling back to OP I think there's like a low-to-moderate chance that the original texter is just BAD AT TEXTING. there is a charming way to say "desperate much?" IRL in a way that clearly indicates you're actually very interested, but that is completely lost in plaintext

but anyway it's nobody's job to teach people who are bad at texting how to get better at texting... over text. that is a recipe for suffering lol. ghost/next etc and move on aside, hmmmm i think "the perils of plaintext" is an essay worth writing....
