For the last six months I’ve gone for a 30 - 45 minute walk every morning as close to waking as possible. I’ve missed maybe three days when it was raining heavily. It’s become one of my favourite habits - seems to have a strong link with how good I feel.

“stop and smell the roses” is such a stock phrase I do notice tho like, in moments of real freedom, one of the things I naturally end up doing is taking really slow, luxurious walks and just enjoying all sensation- wind and sun on my skin, and even the physical sense of balance

Been wearing barefoot shoes for almost a year now and it’s really changed my gait for the better. It took 2 tried though. First try was in 2016 but it was too painful, second try was in 2020 after having spent more time barefoot due to wfh. Well worth a try. Just go easy at 1st https://t.co/1JSGWHQKjB
