Every day, I just asked myself ‘hey what do u wanna do rn?’ And I am privileged and lucky enough to be able to do whatever the answer is. And over time | didn’t have to ask anymore. My body just told me https://t.co/uswDwgrgj5

But today for example | just intuitively know it was a black coffee day. > you didn’t have to justify for yourself why Yeah! Just “this is what | want today” “cool gotchu.” https://t.co/GTkPLfGxFr

People feel easy to talk to when they just take your words the way you want them to mean and not anyhow else. It’s the same with your own body. https://t.co/dufbMTlchd

Imagine someone saying, “Can you pass me the chili flakes today? I want food to be a bit spicier today.” Imagine asking to that “Oh, why? Is that right?” as your hand hovers over the chili flakes. Checking, before taking as fact. We do this to ourselves.

Reason was a psy-op anyway. https://t.co/PD7vzoGlIm

Asking myself this constantly and every day. “What do I want to do rn?” Huh, that. No idea why. Taking as fact. “Which way do I want to take?” Ok. And eventually, maybe like @pragueyerrr, it’ll become habitual, just like it was habitual not to.

“We have to be true before we can be usefully a bit fake.” https://t.co/roEL61HrcW

Turns out posting this thread itself was an example of non-doing. What does @pragueyerrr mean by this?? https://t.co/C6WO56SScf

Ah, so that’s what it means. Allowing ourselves to know what we know. Not needing to check. The slog of moving though life so checked. Self-trust. https://t.co/SoW3FwpptU

It’s cutting down the drama of having to do things. There is no drama. https://t.co/Py8hwCks3P

If you feel frozen when you do this and have no sense of what you wanna do, you might be asking yourself too abstractly. Drop it down to the physical. Look around, look at the floor around you, and contemplate different movements. https://t.co/H6RxruhRls

Notice what calls out to you, and the sheer, incredible, unrestrainable autonomy in the physical world. This sense of autonomy will carry you over into the social sphere, even the abstract sphere. It’s a great place to start. https://t.co/ZNlvZM7yIg

This might not change your life, but it did mine, and might yours. https://t.co/rqhaam3GhZ

It’s also the way to become someone who does what they want. https://t.co/uKiFsINTir

being your own first supporter, the first person rooting for you to succeed, to have fun, experience joy, etc – this is something you can get better at with practice. over time you become steadfast, unwavering. it’s not magic confidence dust. It’s practice

If I find I have a reason to do something, but I still feel conflicted about it, my heart wants to do the opposite. I often find once I allow my heart to make that choice, sometimes it flips back, to the "reasoned", and that's okay too. It can change.
