a fantasy of mine is to find/create the memetic virus that makes everyone securely attached

have some early evidence of this https://t.co/IzC2v6D13p

@ChrisChipMonk Some prior art on these q's btw - or at least the inverted form: https://t.co/1DfdY5RZ9r The early questions are about feeling bad, but still ends up with, "what's bad if I feel good?"

maybe this is an example? (how could we do something like this tweet except for areas that aren't dating?) https://t.co/ZNbXfxzVob

something interesting here / more examples: https://t.co/ewQj5NYrTd

@ChrisChipMonk I discovered from this thread https://t.co/6HuO2Mp2yN

@ChrisChipMonk Paying it forward (classic example is buying next person in line’s Starbucks) My favorite version is when someone asks to return a favor ask them to pay it forward for the rest of their life.

A few others: Kindness (from a position of strength, not weakness) is another. Genuine manners (respect begets respect) Telling others they don’t need to apologize, they have a right to (whatever) as much as anyone else. (Obviously only applicable to over apologizing) Telling others you don’t need to know why (if they have a tendency to DEER when expressing preferences. Thanking people for difficult honesty.

@ChrisChipMonk This might be ~all spiritual practices. cc: @dthorson https://t.co/43ttNl6K09

@ChrisChipMonk eli5 for secure attachment I know more than nothing and it still feels like jargon to me. It elicits a "model citizen" in my mind but if that model is wrong then whoever is consuming the model (me) is moving in the wrong direction

@ChrisChipMonk hmmmmm Safety from the pull of my emotions. They come, I feel them & I can act with them as a data point vs. as the controller. OR Being in a situation/environment where my emotions aren't being manipulated or toyed with.

@ChrisChipMonk i was thinking about this and this is a vector not a lot of people are exploring i think https://t.co/yEQOvfkFjk

Neal Stephenson really nailed it with Snowcrash. Looking back with a bit of awe. Pls be careful, the worldviews are going to be waking up and that means polymorphic cult viruses. Nam-shubs aren’t real and raw bitmaps can’t hurt you, but normal narratives are bad enough.
