could someone who can't “feel their feelings” try this and share how it goes? Focusing facilitated by Claude (extended reasoning) with prompt: The Power of Focusing.txt https://t.co/bpA3J8IygM

Has anyone who has read this book gone from “I can’t feel feelings in my body” to “I can” ? https://t.co/ZUXRldUoEf

@ChrisChipMonk Nothing comes up physiologically. It's like looking at clouds and trying to "find" a face. Maybe I need to keep trying.

@samismx ty for trying! did you tell it “one single instruction at a time”? because that’s too many words

@ChrisChipMonk Didn't do anything I'd say; also it seems one could have had the same effect reading the paragraphs with the instructions

@ChrisChipMonk OTOH I slapped a chunk of Unlocking the Emotional Brain into Grok and had a nice crying-inducing Coherence Therapy sesh

@ChrisChipMonk It started from a tightness in my chest, then went to fear of being laughed at, brought up a scene from the past, had a chat with younger self

@ChrisChipMonk There probably are, I consider every time an experience makes me cry something important happened, but it's hard to say "ah yes this made me 10% more self-accepting" or something.

@ChrisChipMonk Unrelatedly, I'm following https://t.co/X7gmuriHKb and I kind of wonder if the flow state you have described here a while back is kind of the same end-state the nondual meditation is supposed to get you to

@ArtirKel hm maybe. idk what they mean by observer tho it's kinda just like i don't make decisions stuff just happens. decisions are all already made. but i say good stuff and stuff works out https://t.co/KgalhC88pz https://t.co/ktGPN4Hnbf

when you're in flow, feelings and actions cease to be Separate. stuff Just Happens. actions Just Happen. there is little awareness of “conscious choice” or “effort”. your body just does stuff… or not! and “despite” this, good things keep happening :^)
