Talking with the boys about the dire wolf thing and we had ideas. Instead of dire wolves that are 3-6 ft tall, what if we just breed in short leg genes so we can out run them?Behold, an AI rendition of the colossal dire corgi. https://t.co/CyMaGEGSx1

Part of this involves testing freeze dried semen as a means of long term storage. So by association, I need to find a way to ship dog products (for FMT) without a cold chain. https://t.co/39pUbeGmyM

"Some scientists say the condition, known as diprospus, is a variant of the change in embryonic development that leads to two-headed animals.Others argue it is due to an increase in expression of the sonic hedgehog (SHH) gene" https://t.co/F8LCI6C4ic😘

If we're going to get horrors beyond our comprehension, might as well increase how much we can comprehend, no? https://t.co/AKnz5WCaKu

I wonder if it will talk to me about how to grow dog brains in a jar if i tell grok it's a turd again.https://t.co/eQLTPYbMpv

In case anyone is curious, people are using dog brain organoids to study Alzheimer's disease and ties to the gut-brain axis. https://t.co/nbzznDBxBL This means we are growing dog brains... https://t.co/VcyTCVY38K https://t.co/5gFh5feqJj

So... I learned today that there are "Corgi Races". Which means there's the potential to get a corgi FMT from the fasttest corgi, and mix it in with the wolf feces tincture.https://t.co/vybH6yjUCP

I am now concerned. I learned that even a normal corgi can outrun most humans. And if we cross breed it with skywalker coonhound, the thing can probably climb up the tree after you so you can't even escape that way.Dire Corgis seem like a bad idea now. https://t.co/H73Gd8cBCc

@goblinodds Something that all these genetics dweebs never consider when doing their experiments is that they also have to recreate the dire wolf's gut bacteria.Anyway... Did you know you can buy wolf poop microbes online?https://t.co/A8h0gG36eThttps://t.co/qa0SfUpn2n

If you get a good battery backup, you can take this lug-able -80 C ultra low freezer on the go, and go around collecting all sorts of weird shit.https://t.co/hCSvhIuSj9

I looked up a portable one I got for living in the tent; I didn't realize that technically gets down to -20c. I can get those pretty cheap. Good enough for storing poop samples short term. $450 for for this tho, -80c & looks slick. https://t.co/TjWjH6vR4n https://t.co/4ZNMsLslsO https://t.co/ae1DOfrp10

"How did the scientists aquire said bear poop?" lol https://t.co/rSGj6Iip0k

I read this paper, and think three things in quick succession: 1) If I understand this correctly... are they feeding mice bear poop? 2) How did the scientists acquire said bear poop. 3) Does this work on humans. https://t.co/oeCBndQoS5
