My first success in treating my Treatment Resistant Major Depression was in doing a gut intervention. https://t.co/mwbCbqL29N

I reasoned thru that the cause of sleep deprivation being a possible cure Treatment Resistant Major Depression was it acts to distort gut environment and allow it to recover differently.https://t.co/uvw4XKRlIb

So I decided to leverage an alcohol based gut clearing regimine and fasting as a way to more acutely targeting gut health shifts. The fasting was meant to mirror studies looking at fasting for Multiple Sclerosis. I also reasoned that was gut based...

This worked, but it didn't fully restore my gut as I was struggling w/ poverty diet and issues tied to years and years of Crohn's disease symptoms. You can't restore gut bacteria that aren't there to begin with.So... thats what made me decide to do FMT.https://t.co/6emD8tNzHU

"Human studies indicated clinical benefits of FMT (from healthy donors) in people with MS including: improved intestinal motility and motor ability which lasted at least for the duration of the studies, ranging from 2 to 15 years." [AUG 2023]https://t.co/yi2xLv7g7s

There's a lot of moving parts going on in this space. The M.S. was making my vagus nerve demylinate so the gut signals weren't working well.https://t.co/bd3pBQcV7r

Nor how radically 'gut-brain-axis' is in upending our models."Critically, blocking vagal signaling from gut to brain, via subdiaphragmatic vagotomy, abolished the antidepressive effects of oral SSRI treatment as determined by the tail suspension test."https://t.co/pWFLb97oRE

It's possible the reason the SSRIs I tried caused me so many problems was because of the vagus nerve not working well and my gut already being in a challenged state. That and a ton of liver/blood brain barrier mutations that impact metabolism of it.

Did you know coffee can trigger serotonin syndrome when combined with SSRIs? not many people do.I was drinking tons of coffee to counter the Crohn's fatigue. Whoops.https://t.co/QUS53Z5iGT

Serotonin Syndrome!"Excessive coffee intake triggers serotonin syndrome by promoting 5-hydroxytryptamine (serotonin) secretion. Patients with psychiatric diseases that necessitate treatment with SSRIs should be educated regarding caffeine consumption." https://t.co/VUKh8sN7Wn

This whole space is absolutely fucked.https://t.co/cqq50sBIPY

@bradstradamus @thom_ivy_1 @DogIsABot All the anti-seed oil peaters are currently demonizing serotonin. They are wrong. They should specifically demonizing SSRIs. Serotonin is fine if your body can make Progesterone properly. But if your lipid function is screwed up due to bad gut...https://t.co/k86SEyfsL9

Everyone is modeling it wrong.https://t.co/IEVjAaAUIL

There's more than one way to fix your gut.https://t.co/FlDwGbWBBd

Some outcomes of shifting my gut was I got stronger. I could suddenly run again and didn't suffer from my lung issues and my allergies seemed to abate somewhat.Trying to figure out why I felt so much better so I could get sustainable remission was my focus from 2018 to 2022.

Did you know that your gut health can impact Telomeres? Its really fascinating to explore how many different conditions have weird telomere expression and a distorted gut environment. https://t.co/kqu6RX9cJv

Sure wish someone knew what was going on with this..."telomeres were significantly shorter in patients with mood disorders overall, and in patients with major depressive disorders" https://t.co/UvNWK0lQVR

But what I know. I'm not a doctor. I'm not qualified.https://t.co/6zkAJ23k4X
