she says "no no no you're doing it all wrong" (she means me). pulls out a piece of paper, give it to 3yo, says "here's your practice paper. now make a line go down, up, down, up". "you can do it this way…" (draws with curves) "or this way" (straight lines)". "that's an M, it's upside down"
