i'd like to form a crew of people that are interested in taking self responsibility seriously. the plan is to identify all the people in each of our lives that we have a tenuous relationship with, take self responsibility for why that is, and communicate that

common examples might be parents, exes, friends, etc. i imagine the primary functions of the crew would be to offer empathy, reflection, and challenge. im interested in using "The Work" byron katie as a potential framework https://t.co/h5IdyYOn15

this work matters to me because it's how i see myself actually cultivating greater love and compassion in the world https://t.co/8F67IAH7xN

burgeoning thought #2 - the way to love and compassion for all beings isnt to sit and meditate, it's to go out and interact with the very people that trigger the most hatred, contempt, judgment, rage, to make friends with them and find compassion

ok i have a much clearer sense of what this crew would look like now and why it matters. basically doing the things in this thread with people in our life that we don't feel in full integrity with https://t.co/XZ7VxUj3x0
