Oh shit, this is a practice of deep adulthood - of deeply learning and understanding how our actions impact other people, and owning up to the consequences of them https://t.co/pN7UGIun52

It helps us see plainly where we have guilt, where we are out of integrity, and to make amends https://t.co/oSCbVrGKrz

shame is an emotion of badness, rooted in fear of being unlovable, broken, unfit for connection/belonging. it's the emotion of an inner childguilt is an emotion of integrity, of acknowledging our impact, honoring desires and agreements. it's the emotion of an adult

Love this resource about restoring integrity in a relationship, often referred to as an apology, but “I’m sorry” barely covers the terrain that needs navigating to truly honor a relationship, thanks to @MrSimmoSimpson for sharing https://t.co/tD3H14TNqJ

@MrSimmoSimpson omfg this is what i wanted to do in these crews but didn't have the perspective/language to do them. i feel like i now have clarity https://t.co/Kyd32tQXE1

i'd like to form a crew of people that are interested in taking self responsibility seriously. the plan is to identify all the people in each of our lives that we have a tenuous relationship with, take self responsibility for why that is, and communicate that

@MrSimmoSimpson i also like this angle on it https://t.co/mqv39rz12L
