it’s a lot less stable than two people who are anchored on their selves, and can also anchor on each other those two people can move closer together, or further away without it being such a shock

there’s this desire to find intimacy with each other’s self, when we haven’t really found intimacy with our own selves either maybe someone else has a better shot than we do? often they do. they have less “shit” about you. they can love you more clearly
