Sometimes I won’t know what color sth is, and it’ll look iffy, Then someone tells me what color it is and I can WAYCH IT BECOME THAT COLOR and it’s been like that since I was little there’s no way that didn’t help cultivate my worldview

Cuz uhhhh yeah—color perception is very much not the only human social experience that works like that It’s like all of em I just had a daily visceral reminder in my vision that this was the case my whole life

Once I started getting a hang of looking at things directly and trying to disentangle myself a bit from what I had been told they were, And just looked at what I saw instead
