i suspect that people who have deconverted from intense religious belief have something the rest of us don't, in terms of mindset and epistemics
it seems to crack them open in a unique way

@acidshill if by deconversion you mean a solo quest to break with the consensus reality of all your peers & mentors in pursuit of your own deeper knowing, then yes, that did me good
