There is a lot of power in fixing your gut. Intermittent fasting / timing your diet (+ cutting inflammation causing foods) can help a lot.https://t.co/ZUnjtxs0ZO

Here's a 2018 study in mice that shows a ketogenic diet directly impacts factors associated with BBB and Alzheimer's disease via P-Glycoprotein and mTOR, with direct impacts on beneficial gut bacteria.https://t.co/drdz9ZPthQ https://t.co/hooLTw5mac

Something that we've been doing to help my GF is replacing sources of sugar with other sweet things that don't spike blood sugar as much.https://t.co/vp2nkrlC2P

Trying to ask a diabetic type II person with a sweet tooth to avoid sugar during her favorite holiday is hilarious. But she's been really good about it so far. I am so thankful.FYI Dunkin's pumpkin flavor this year has like 50grams of sugar.

Some studies suggested protein timing can impact how sugar is absorbed by the gut.We also did a thing where we changed the order of things she ate. So she eats a yogurt 10-15 minutes before she has her cereal in the morning. It seems to check out.

Word of caution around turmeric. It literally acts like Tylenol to the point that it can hurt liver if taken in extended doses.https://t.co/yjlGsnUKYu

Careful with Turmeric, it can cause liver problems. Interestingly it can also be mitigated by NAC, much like Tylenol.https://t.co/TaKNSQcNrY

A possible reason why Turmeric is driving problems. Lead uptake from bad soil and market condition making it hard to tell where spices are source from.https://t.co/iUmNjcKKWK

@iamthemightyoak @BioavailableNd @T3MaxxiAlt @chriskresser Something just came out looking at Tumeric. It might be the lead content that is driving this weird association with Tylenol. (both would be driving odd DNA damage)https://t.co/9MX1eslMgS
