The people who feel most like my friends are also a bit lonely. What means?

I should explain more. - It’s not to do with the pandemic. - It’s not to do with how many friends and how much community they have. Often they have a lot and are baking in feeling utterly & completely loved 🥰

It’s more like they’ve known a kind of Loneliness and haven’t forgotten about it. It makes them really easy to relate to.

ahhh. you know what that is! “yes” and you see how it doesn’t mean / co-exists with now feeling loved :) “yes” and how it almost feels like a timeless part of you, maybe one day dissolved,

but almost like an Eeyore you invite to the party always—you don’t want him to change, you just invite him because he was once a part of you and part of the way you see the world “yes!” https://t.co/TSrDDI2VZk

@btohtoh Eeyore was both included and allowed to be sad in his own way for as long as he wanted. They didn’t need him to change to enjoy themselves. I will never forget what it means to include someone that way. https://t.co/qj4drdMvFZ

People who know what pain is are kinder to other people because of it. It’s not the same thing as being weak.

actually, it’s like this when i don’t have to explain to them why Loneliness is a not a Bad thing but i also don’t have to make it a good thing either i can sort of maintain just an actual response to it; hold it in unvalenced space https://t.co/J01qRiiiSh

When my friends don’t even have to “accept” my weird, I get more room, to respond in the way I want to (instead of reifying it as a thing) https://t.co/RL5ZEYVuk7

They tend to be weirder. They tend to say yes to stranger things. They rederived a lot of their principles and have a comfort with doing the same.

like poly what I say isn’t weird to them. it may not be their thing. but it doesn’t feel any weirder than normalcy https://t.co/jaTjSRJfJI

poly is not about escaping committment poly is about the escaping into the commitment that you are going to care about each other no matter what, whether it is as friends, or strangers, or dears or dates

That feels like it! It’s like—when everything is equally weird to them, I have a lot of space to explore. It’s not that they don’t find me weird. It’s that they look at normal and find it GAHSHDJSKL ISN’T that so crazy and unnormal and weird too?? 🐣🐥 https://t.co/hOPq2um4sE

it’s like Ms. G talking about gratitude and meeting @nickcammarata. like AHGFJHFHDJH isn’t it crazy we just get to LIVE and feel grateful and be alive—life is the TITS she met someone for whom being normal is at least as weird as being ~~~Ms. G~~~ all the time https://t.co/OA9lErrA24

Something @nosilverv said that stuck with me: The point of a thought isn’t a thought. It’s to get to the next one.

@rosaclewis and @maybegray are two of my favourite people in the world, because they found their happy, but they didn’t lose their sadness either. https://t.co/Lt0aKQSucr https://t.co/y3e2QRi9jn
