@pragueyerrr @Tjdriii @goblinodds when writing introspect – which is based on like 15 years of journaling, conversations, etc – one of my final chapters, the phrasing that came naturally to me is "show up, don't die, don't quit"

the dynamic is that humans have set up these groups of people, that kinda propagate across time, and are fine and if you stay within the confines of one, you’ll probably also sorta be fine

the confidence to pay your own rent is one of the #1 things in the right to create your own reality if you are a dependent, you are literally dependent, and you are literally obliged; if you create your own economic reality, you can live in it [economic → social, etc.]
