"It has been demonstrated that, due to higher blood glucose concentration, diabetic Candida sp. isolates present significantly higher hemolytic and esterase enzymatic activity, which may contribute to increased enzyme activity among diabetic patients"https://t.co/tva63mEAmc

"TRELEGY 100/62.5/25 mcg can cause serious side effects, including: fungal infection in your mouth or throat (thrush)."https://t.co/seWSXXB193

I learned recently that when a diabetic type II patient goes to the ER for having trouble breathing related to their asthma medication, specifically mentioning their throat closing up... No one looks at their throat and they assume it's Acute Bronchitis.

I figure... that when a patient goes in to the ER about asthma problems and trouble breathing that maybe someone would look at their throat/mouth to check for Thrush?https://t.co/T6TRbJGVBQ

Prednisone & Doxycycline for the "Acute Bronchitis"So thats cool."Medications. Drugs such as prednisone, inhaled corticosteroids, or antibiotics that disturb the natural balance of microorganisms in your body can increase your risk of oral thrush." https://t.co/2hb7iBiQ8q

Ok cool. I happened to look in their throat cuz they were still having breathing problems and it was red. And there was fungal colonies all over the sides of the mouth. So did they actually have Bacterial infection/chest cold? Don't know.

It took me 3 seconds to look in her mouth and see the problem and the red in the back of her mouth. Then she went to a clinic and they saw the fungus. Now I have to pray the Mycostatin doesn't dive more interactions with her other meds and hopefully actually works this time.

The best case for this situation is she actually had Acute Bronchitis (they tested for pneumonia and Covid at the ER) and it went away... But that implies they gave her a Candida infection with the meds and is now in worse condition than before.

I hope that she's not going to have a reaction to the Nystain. I'm not very confident right now.https://t.co/MPnW21F2sf

Slightly worried about E. Coli + Candida synergy => biofilm as possible driver.https://t.co/IEcaaaxN6j

E. Coli is a possibility given her weird iron levels that doctors have also attributed entirely to her menses.https://t.co/te5MXx6Lvu

@literalbanana If I'm right. we ought to expect that depression (which has signature of impaired e-coli in the gut https://t.co/wbieUmJ2ik ) is possibly downstream of a fungal imbalance. Because yeast and e coli can both live off iron, they may be cooperating.

Can't get doctors to test for this stuff. But they scratch their heads a lot about weird phenomena and then I do something and bam, the problem fixes.https://t.co/KWgouwmfye

Neat, all of these also seem to coincide w/ gut bacteria. What if its not the sleep, but the impacts of gut bacteria we're seeing?Lots of fun studies suggest insomina may be due to gut bacteria. I with some antibiotics even having it as a side effect https://t.co/a0NtLg0lzh https://t.co/Dzw93r5o1m

@schulzb589 @davidasinclair Acetaldehyde driven by sugar feeding various fungal agents is probably what we are seeing, with heme from animal products combining w/ candida species to promote biofilm production with E coli in the gut (which doesn't happen in vegan since E Coli has alt metabolic pathways.)

Tired: vaccines cause autismWired: antibiotics cause autism.Inspired: actually what matters is if the delicate balance of the gut ecosystem can recover after the immune system is perturbed, and in some cases antibiotics help prevent autism while sometimes causing it.

It's yeasts. Its all yeasts. We are looking for a single causal strain of yeast but its not any particular one. Its all of them.So you get studies like this that just shrug and come to the wrong conclusion. https://t.co/kDrhb30K9J

Candida isn't the only yeast that impairs the gut barrier / blood brain barrier. So if you are looking for just one, you'll be looking at this space wrong.https://t.co/BdJoZ1vWGo

"Malassezia fungi can be implicated in other diseases related or not to the gut. Indeed, their DNA were identified in the central nervous system of Alzheimer's patients" https://t.co/vCk2r2G2VTIts all yeast.

We need to think more holistically."The inclusion of antibacterial drug exposure in a multivariable model significantly enhanced the model's predictive accuracy for fluconazole-resistant Candida bloodstream infection."https://t.co/SxcJxib65G

If gut bacteria fight yeast and protect us from pathogenic strains. We ought to expect that killing off the gut using antibiotics or by tweaking the immune system using tylenol, that the body will not be able to fight off fungal infection.

"It's not yet clear whether other fever-reducing drugs, such as ibuprofen, have the same effect. But the researchers warn doctors and parents to try to avoid using acetaminophen, ibuprofen, or other fever-reducing drugs to prevent vaccine-related fever." https://t.co/8S4Ke6ZS6u

Why can't we see this?Allergies and candida infection go hand in hand in vaginal candidiasis. Does it not make sense that we'd see pervasive mast cell reactions if this thing (or other similar fungus) is in other parts of the body?https://t.co/T2iCz6wWMJ

"Mast cell activation in response to Malassezia spp. has also been reported in studies with bone-marrow-derived mast cells. These cells are directly activated by the fungus in a TLR2-dependent manner and release inflammatory mediators and cytokine" https://t.co/3a7ThZFkGg

GF had the worst candida flair up so far, It'd been under control but something about catching covid(?) absolutely made this latest menstrual cycle really bad. Been kinda scared. https://t.co/TD9CougUuf

I think me and the GF have covid? All symptoms and symptom progression. I got a bad fever, headache and a runny nose + lots of thick mucus (especially in stool). Also we both got weird farts before we saw nasal symptoms. It's hitting her lungs way more than me. Kinda scary.

Her lung issues subsided, but she was complaining of not being able to breath while trying to sleep. Her tongue was coated with yellow colored mold (candida stained with what I think was coffee).https://t.co/oXhHh05abv

They've got her on Fluconazole that seems to be helping. We're supplementing with Thyme tea.https://t.co/BJGLEUBt0i

We're just started rinsing her mouth w/ MCT oil sometime after her salt gargle (which is multiple times per day as long as she isn't causing damage).Salt gargle seems to be mechanically removing visible fungal hyphea(?), so I figure the MCT oil will help coat the site after.

I'm just thankful that the IBS symptoms from covid were temporary. If this was a year ago we would both probably be dead. https://t.co/36iddy7Bhk

Inflammation / candida flair ups seem to coincide with excessive urination, so I think the demons are trying to upregulate blood sugar to feed themselves like parasites.https://t.co/gQIOzwyBCY

the GF went to the doctor to get her blood platelet count checked today. She also told me she had to pee a lot. That's a diabetic symptom that I am weary of because of blood sugar causing kidneys to malfunction.
