There’s a sort of embodied understanding that the work in life *is* doing. It’s not just about “theoretically being able to send the email.” It’s actual taking out of the trash that is the work. https://t.co/EEr6dLaLsO

I had a problem with doing. I only respected problems where I to think, and solve, and once I figured it out, it would be done. So when it came to things like chores, showering, walking between places, there was always a slight kind of dissociation. https://t.co/b6MBLR9krS

taking out the trash as part of the Big stuff https://t.co/Wvj8UtJqwh

It’s something like: taking out the trash *is* part of the larger problem of how to live life, and so are these what feel like “littler” things against the larger, more singular, pressing problem of how do I become an economically viable feral free agent. https://t.co/MQ2D97PHMS

Academia values Big Answers, and doesn’t value solving micro-problems. The world cares about having solved the little problems, and doesn’t care about your Big Answers. https://t.co/HEF9AFIUtD
