ironically, one of the great tragedies of being a celebrity — which literally kills some of them and drives many of them mad, into escapist addictions, etc – is that you become basically a zoo animal, where everyone sees you but almost nobody Sees you https://t.co/dLo4S78PzP

@tasshinfogleman make friends with people like Zane Lowe who are clearly committed to seeing the people underneath https://t.co/fQjJtWwP7N

@visakanv I recall an interview with Obama that I can't find where he talks about how everyone talks to him as if he's Obama. So everyone is extremely nervous and fake. And he can't even just say "chill out it's fine" cos that has all it's own expectations. I'm paraphrasing heavily here.

@NathanpmYoung fun case where Seinfeld is someone who can partially relate: https://t.co/3NzFJS6wdR

The thing I really enjoy about this exchange between Obama and Seinfeld is that you can see that they’re both very curious people, intellectually rigorous, each dealing with unavoidable filter bubbles, and each recognises that the other person has a valuable perspective https://t.co/rGQGfv0f5b
