When pizza's on a bagel, you can have an open face cheese sandwich with tomatoes sauce any time! https://t.co/XduwA2hHEy

I'll see you a bagel, but if you wanna turn it into a sandwich, you gotta slice it yourself. Tax man be like that.https://t.co/eyzs8StjX4

Vermont is weird too. Chips and soda get a tax if you buy a sandwich with it, unless you buy the sandwich at the deli and put the chips and soda in your cart and pay as grocery.https://t.co/taSh32id7h Schrodinger's tax rate.

I'm getting a kick out of Vermont Cannabis laws too. Made it legal to 'gift' it and then get mad because can't get sales tax over something you aren't allowed to sell.https://t.co/k2iWmn1sqE

is still illegal at federal level, unless it's Dronabinol, which is basically synthetic THC. Still waiting on Nabiximols to get federal aproval, and then I can just go for an MS diagnosis and get some. Then just add terpenes back in and create 'not technically cannabis'. 🤪

I don't have health insurance tho. It will apparently cost me twice as much as my total income to use Sativix if we go by this estimate for UK pricing.Looks like I'll be learning how to make my own THC distillate from self-grown plants.https://t.co/Kzt06VlJHS

Oh neat, you can do decarboxylation via sous vide?https://t.co/PupJK497bWTFW I'm learning about medicine from a Twitter gif: https://t.co/JPFmyJJKre

Huh, I might be able to grow my own?"Under Act 86, each “dwelling unit” is allowed four immature plants and up to two mature (flowering) plants at one time."https://t.co/dCdW8v5xLM

So my choices are live in constant pain and slowly succumb to being in a wheelchair, or pay twice my annual income to get legal THC? Or I can just skirt the whole thing and DIY via recreational cannabis laws.I love our healthcare system.

Going to learn how to distill my own terpenes and isolate THC and make it bio-available by binding it to a lipid and make my own medicinal drops. I just need space to do it.https://t.co/x0VfUsXkJp

If you need to buy an expensive herb for medicinal purposes, one way to get more use out of it is to create a salve or a balm, and use it in a target fashion. The more bioavailable it is, the less you waste.https://t.co/FNJtJdhTbZ

"originally plan to drink "celestial blood" in order to restore their magic, but when they find that there isn't enough blood to go round, Hilda suggests applying it to their skin and bathing in the light of the hare moon instead."https://t.co/zxWD6aHANHhttps://t.co/6nxy9z6avZ

Sometimes you can enhance the effect of a medicinal herb by upregulating related receptors to make your body more sensitive to it. This is often referred to in passing as the 'entourage effect'.I have no idea what I'm doing.https://t.co/R38ruwVQn1

The silicon lid for instant pot liners seems to do a great job at locking in smells and preventing cross contamination from other items in a poorly kept fridge. Great for long term steeping. Just watch out the broth doesn't erode metal/ceramic of the pot.

Sealable glass mason jars are great for steeping herbs, but the weight of them is prohibitive for me. I've been looking at using reusable sealing silicon bags instead. Provided they aren't adulterated with other rubbers, I suspect they'll be safe to use. Haven't confirmed yet.

Do not put a sealed mason jar in an instant pot unless you want a bad time, FYI.https://t.co/mc3BWUDr7d

If you decide it's a smart idea to seal an acid safe inner container and do "pot-in-pot cooking", make sure you don't accidentally make a bomb ☠️ due to pressure differentials. There's a reason why I think flexible silicon baggies might be a good idea.https://t.co/rtWkG1qDlD

The official instant pot bakeware includes a safe lid that has a loose fitting vent. So the pressure will equalize. This is very very important detail! As the water content of the inner and outer areas may differ, without venting you can get explosive expansion or decompression. https://t.co/rJ4NlWvKGH

Likewise, the idea of using a silicon baggie may also expand and explode if you are not careful. I plan to use a bike pump to inflate one (in a safe controlled condition) to estimate their resistance to pressure & deformation under high heat conditions.

Do not fuck around with nesting pressure vessels if you do not want to die.https://t.co/Xcp4nE0E4y

The action lab did a follow up to his oil/water mixture. Apparently if you use a proper blender in a vacuum oil and water mix really well.https://t.co/3EpqxTF6blhttps://t.co/fksyEDvuc4

Trying to sleep, when I see a video about mixing water and oil together without an emulsifier. It turns out dissolved gas molecules have an impact on oil mixing. So if taking air out (degassing) causes more mixing, what happens if you aerate?https://t.co/1HFNeUpSoj

Thinking a lot about how resin curing often has trouble with air bubbles. One solution for air bubbles is to make them smaller by using pressure chamber instead of a vacuum. https://t.co/JA4R2oyYsoIf this is surface tension phenomena in the oil+water mix, would this still work?

There are lot of options for vacuum chambers for resin casting, but many of them aren't food safe, nor is it viable to use hot oils or cook with them.https://t.co/iNnDrYqpcO

Be careful with pressure chambers. https://t.co/A4bwAVEU3B

Something that might help with water/oil mixing is to heat the water to impact dissolvable capacity, and then use an ultrasonic cleaner to vibrate out more. Of course if you are blending it whips air back in, so it probably isn't viable, but neat idea.https://t.co/sRK2i5XmUQ

According to this 1994 article, sonication+reduced pressure is a viable strategy to remove dissolved oxygen. They also suggest nitrogen purging, though that might not solve the surface tension issue for the water+oil mix effect. https://t.co/R6OkFyi4Nq

"It should be emphasized, however, that all themethods reviewed here leave some oxygen insolution and the complete elimination of oxygenfrom solution is not possible by any of thetechniques evaluated in this study." https://t.co/WoEnvKblzP

This reminds me of how some of the more extreme ways to preserve certain herbs involves capping them with nitrogen gas and sealing them in a dark glazed bottle to avoid oxygenation. https://t.co/AWKOjxPbU3

Something weird is going in the the cannabis industry. The underground market is being saturated with toxic synthetics (see this vice video https://t.co/LxIu4GsawE ) and regulations meant to keep us safe are bullshit.https://t.co/4Sgu0XnYip
