Riboflavin or vitamin B2 requires iodine, selenium, and molybdenum to become active within the body. Riboflavin is necessary for the conversion of niacin/B3, pyroxidine/B6, folate/B9, and cobalamin/B12 into their actives forms and it is primarily found in animal foods.

@Grimhood Ah! So Selenium (Garlic) and Molybdenum (Stinging Nettle) would let me use B2 better. That may explain why I've not had any problems with B6 from garlic -> it might be all being converted more effectively in the liver?

@opkzZ @Grimhood for iodine, I eat yogurt and get a lot of it from dairy based kefir. I also eat 6+ eggs a time when I do that. I am probably not on top of my iodine intake, but I suspect that my M.S. associated thyroid issues were more than just lacking iodine.
