It’s also possible to get the time you sleep back (phenomenologically) by lucid dreaming and feeling super rested and having happy lucid dream thoughts. https://t.co/hL4ofmJpTJ

My workload increased 4–5x in the last week — I literally could not survive if I didn’t have Alexander Technique, etc. to regain energy while doings tasks and just let my body do and realise I don't have to “be there” for it.

I always want to be regaining energy. Using awareness in subtle ways, subtle wiggling. Before: - oh no exhausting zoom call - now five minute break to space out After - wow zoom call recovering soo much energy! - oh break time time to exercise and release energy!

Here is a very concrete technique to gain back. Pros: - it’s erotic - did i mention it’s so sweetly, subtly erotic, like sitting near your crush all day - it’s specific enough to follow https://t.co/YBvkoWm5B7

My mind tells me to - wash my face [keep it less oily] - yell something [YAARGH] - clench stomach [clench] and I just notice and allow it and somehow helps get energy back. I don’t understand this the least. I love dancing in my room during Zoom calls. People can hear me fine!

Was exercise-dancing when I took off my glasses and . . . the world changed? My body felt so much lighter. Less tight awareness around head. More low, entire room. Body just danced. Reminds me of @nickcammarata’s video. https://t.co/UIwityrfum

@AskYatharth Unaided I feel dizzy and I can't see, and I basically never exist like this. Contacts I feel a little more connected to the world because more of it is in focus. Glasses a little less, but it's very subtle. Largely I don't think it makes much of a difference.

@m_ashcroft Feels it’s both how frames: - compromise 360 vision (only see in front of me), everything literally passes through a screen - icky feeling on nose and sight of frames reminds me of head and keeps awareness close

@m_ashcroft and also how unaided just gives me - less visual resolution which actually helps with wider awareness - more being with in an unconscious perceiving way, if that makes sense, less resolving into forms, which hurts so much

@m_ashcroft It helped, not just in a “beer glasses” “can’t see people seeing me” way, but just less worrying, more feeling. https://t.co/94M3pv3uDh

@AskYatharth I sort of get how unaided brings about wider awareness and one that is more 'direct'. I'm not sure the extent to which that's useful though, maybe an indication just to wear contacts as much as possible!
