It's got Bacillus Coagulans; got what guts crave.https://t.co/g0EJ8zWnD0

Kevita uses Bacillus Coagulans "LactoSpore" MTCC 5856 derived from Cranberry Seeds. I can't find out if there is a human derived strain of Cougulans, but there are a tons of different seeds that use variations of it to protect themselves; its fundamentally a soil bacteria.

Ah yes, the tradition. Getting tipsy to endure family.https://t.co/eURB9gsFjB

I don't actually celebrate thanksgiving. But I do like traditions that coincide with honoring Völund.https://t.co/V0TE125DYT

It's been fun to see wine centers in stores grow in popularity. Seeing exotic berry vineyards crop up everywhere in Vermont. I enjoy beer myself, but you haven't lived until you've tried elderberry, or lingonberry wine. I'm hoping mead comes back in style.https://t.co/xFKLeJ4Nmn

Eating fermented berries after watching what animals eat.BiomimiCRY.https://t.co/mlOFbl2HRA

I was watching birds outside eating berries trees still had on the vine. They are eating fermented berries - full of quercetin + Epigallocatechin-gallate (if I identified tree correctly).Native american healing rituals were modeled after animals.https://t.co/0Vd40sZSa7

I stumbled my way into learning genetics and evolution because I had this funny idea on how tradition and myth operate to form entire societies.Turns out there is an entire body of knowledge about how society is a body of knowlege: https://t.co/fuImnR9vTChttps://t.co/drb4FVnHoF

Why do we celebrate holidays at the time of year where vvoden comes to greet us like the specter of death?https://t.co/Zts6Rs9B3a

Serotonin signals thru the day seem to correlate with circadian rhythm. A different way to say that it correlates with food anticipation and the gut bacteria's own rhythms.Perhaps other endocannabinoids are doing the same sort of thing?https://t.co/IQiYCH1qVv

"Valstad et al. conclude that âblood plasma may not efficiently index central oxytocin concentrations under baseline conditions.â This, they note, is a problem for the many studies which have looked for behavioral correlates of baseline plasma oxytocin"https://t.co/FWemtR8B0d

I communicating the state of my health. You make the bathroom stink. They are disgusting.https://t.co/oi0aIdlvnY

A study on the communication between marmots and bears via poop."Gas chromatograms (GC) of the anal gland secretion from a typical female (a) and male (b)brown bear (Ursus arctos) [...][Beta-caryophyllene] were only found in females." ðhttps://t.co/9PCBsIitS0

Holidays are when you invite friends and family over to poop at your house, and you thank them by giving them gifts of bread and wine.Luke 13:6-9https://t.co/KQBlBHura0

I wonder if anyone digs up ant hills and uses their frass / refuse piles to make strange fermented foods. Also, apparently stressed out maned wolf poop is full of Glucocorticoids and Thyroid hormones. Might change the quality of their resulting wines.https://t.co/UB15FBZbmi

I bet I know what made my poop smell like skunk.https://t.co/Qik8nuQH41

@The_Lagrangian @literalbanana 3-methylbut-2-ene-1-thiol seems to be what causes beer to "skunk", and thiols in general may play a role in feces stink (particularly those with bowel issues due to odd bacterial factors).Scent is fascinating.https://t.co/ZHeogxvKsu

Stress stink? Feeding skin microbes."Eccrine sweat is clear and watery, and used to cool the body down, while apocrine sweat glands, clumped mainly around the armpits and genitals, activate during sex and times of stress."https://t.co/D9Zp0mTGx7https://t.co/PMoQmlupJp

Hypothesis: reason we can smell chocolaty oil and swimming pools really well is that chocolate is derived from lactic acid producing bacteria and we are ureotelic - We're using scent not to hunt, but to monitor where other humans live? See also scent driven Westermarck effect.
