The current moral failing that stands out to me most is the reductive way that people divide the world into Good Guys and Bad Guys. https://t.co/oglIQoKriC Nobody is the villain of their own story (some people think they are, but that's an ego-defense for akrasia)

@SkinnerPm There is no us vs them. There is never us vs them. There's only us. Even them! They haven't got the memo yet, or they haven't had it set in, but they're us too. Us vs them is an illusion designed to perpetuate the status quo. If the world is sick, that's what needs to change.

> So would you say people who do that are Bad then? ๐Ÿ˜ Yes. Well I wouldn't say it, that would be too obviously contradictory. But I would say some patronizing shit like "everyone has their own path to truth ๐Ÿ˜Œ", "not everyone is lucky enough to be moral," or what the fuck ever

To be able to articulate something intellectually is not the same as Believing something. Because true belief doesn't feel like Belief. It feels like simple knowing. "This is the way it clearly is," and doesn't need any justification.

Shadow work is all about recognizing that the flaws you see in others are really your own projections. https://t.co/zpFda1s2mf

I'll have you know I have some experience with demons. Not a lot, mind you, but some.

Great point. An understated thing I appreciate about Coherence Therapy is that it talks about the different parts' perspectives as "knowings". These knowings all contain some truth, or you wouldn't know them, and they also tend to be partial or oversimplified, & often contradict. https://t.co/DETsIwGlsM
