scrolling through my youtube videos and I can see a huge difference in the muscular tension in my face same hoodie, same macbook camera, similar lighting conditions... holy shit https://t.co/Pb9WTbAYTZ

all of this can seem very removed, very abstract but here's what I think I know, from my personal experience I used to be a much needier person than I am now and I believe you can actually *see* this change in my *face* people can feel this difference and treat me differently https://t.co/Gr1Wswf0e2

027: RECREATING MYSELF - the pain of being inarticulate - the conflict within the self as a conflict btwn diff ppl - holding a grudge against life as self-preservation - the impossibility of self-conquest via coercion - cultivating a nourishing presence https://t.co/QuF1KUEv3L

keep losing this tweet, putting it in this thread so i can find it https://t.co/CdEc0NZil6

@visakanv Amazing transformation. What stands out the most to me in these videos is how much more you're using your body to express yourself now; like you're not stuck in your own body but living into the world through it, with it. A kind of self-comfort that can be felt, watching this.

@ElodesNL hm there wasn't really anything dramatic... if I had to point at something, I think my trip to SF probably changed my relationship with my body in an important way. high volume of IRL interactions with people who loved me. very hero's journey-esque

@ElodesNL ok so there's ONE video from just before my SF trip – I made this specifically because an old friend said "I'd love to hear you talk for 30 mins about this". I do move my hands around a bit, but you can see I'm also rocking in my chair side to side, and using a pencil as a prop https://t.co/pkhOdcof6B

@ElodesNL oh man this is fascinating I was aware of the body stuff I think I got these ideas from Elliott Hulse who I was watching at the time damn that crazy fucker really changed my life https://t.co/WMWVTePsej https://t.co/lHysILnATM
