I tried to find a support group for autism. It ended up being for the parents of autistic children. They didn't think I was autistic.Building my own support group, with literal & figurative hookers. https://t.co/29H9UkE3Z0

The world needs more hookers.https://t.co/PnsLEiAa7q

I can make some really kinky ropes out of banana trees.https://t.co/711SxKGwro

If you want to support a hodgepodge group of autistic adults work on tracking health via wearables, I will be opening up donations to help us get ahold of a bunch of 'flic' buttons to track autistic events like muteism and meltdowns.https://t.co/skrvtg6A4S

Going to replicate this, but to track how various nootropics and dietary aids impact relevant events related to autism.https://t.co/klr81kPG5y

Please DM me if interested in donating. I believe my employer is legitimately a non profit at this point so it may even be tax-deductible.Looking to get about $400 +shipping and taxes to be able to get this: https://t.co/5mbHK5A11f to send to 4 other adult autistic types.

Will be used to help us all test this: https://t.co/5BMsz24j7s

I tried a cayenne tincture on my new friend's recommendation during one of my meltdowns and it gave me the ability to speak back! All my muscles relaxed, and while I was still in a hyper vigilant state, I wasn't trapped in my own head and my narrowing of vision reversed. Crying.

The question I want answered: https://t.co/8ijrk4FmTy

@danariely I wonder if weird way placebo and autism's strange sense of risk aversion/tolerance operate mean that some times I am immune to placebo, other times I am not.Does eating hot peppers reduce sensation of pain (via TRPV1) *AND* my reward for placebo / risk?https://t.co/WchlLiK0J9

My goal in life is to to stop people like me from suffering.https://t.co/Yc3VHFdNjR

Making good on my commitment on working toward the future, only wanting a Basic Income; after years of struggling while researching at intersection of autism, brains, nutrition, quantified self, I am now formally paid as an independent researcher by a firm. I start the 29th. 🙏

This is a syringe full of cayenne pepper extract. And a pill filling tray (not shown: enteric coated capsules)Just in case you thought I was joking.https://t.co/Rqlgm0GVOb https://t.co/Z0upDtysyF

Looks like we'll be getting them!Super excited.https://t.co/CpaEAicFhn

For reference, don't mess around with concentrated cayenne if you don't know what you are doing. This is literally the active ingredient in pepper spray. I am doing this as an N-of-1 trial and am well aware of the risks.https://t.co/3eAsa6HjfX

For a sense of scale, I eat Habaneros for fun, enjoyed a Bhut Jolokia, and buy Sriracha in bulk.1/50 dilution of this stuff is almost too hot for me to have directly on my tongue.Getting it in eyes or lungs would be excruciating.Do not recommend.https://t.co/cEE7MSaivi

Due to an incident with pickled herring over the holidays. I have confirmed first hand that it's likely TRPV1 receptors in the lungs respond to acid & feel identical to the burning feeling of cayenne.Possibly related: https://t.co/9VvbTq1UJIhttps://t.co/xhAbRRJ6YL

This stuff isn't fun. And Capsaicin poisoning is a potential life threatening agent, if you accidentally inhale it.I'm treating it like an infectious agent. BSL-1 at least.https://t.co/YnZdDQYb6X https://t.co/eDEAFBbjoe

Also, it might trigger incontinence.https://t.co/ewipNBnF2b

I can probably build an electronic thing to heat up my skin to induce pain.Time to see if I can reverse engineer what Dan Ariely was doing.https://t.co/W165DHV4mT

It seems not only have I thought about this before, I have an entire thread exploring it.https://t.co/8ijrk4FmTy

This https://t.co/Q628ZtEMyX is a bit more $ than a Flic button, but I like that it allows for custom code + has accelerometer/gyro built in.Looks like it might be a good option to avoid needing a phone app, and being open source is a big plus for me.https://t.co/9C3zZ3Vit2

I am excited to test out these buttons. I see so much potential.https://t.co/xbPyjOJv8k

I wish things were going well for me. If I had my way, I'd be torturing myself right now with a bunch of hardware to measure my response.https://t.co/8ijrk4FmTy

Did you know that capsaicin seems to directly impact factors associated with diabetes?https://t.co/2ZOKo5gGuf

Why would something that indirectly impacts anandamide and do weird things around the regulation inflammation seem to improve beta cell function?https://t.co/2c9Y8R9Bgn

"Results from our study indicate that the reduced food intake and anti-obesity effect of CAP had been observed regardless of TRPV1 channel activation, and which is mediated by changes in the gut microbiota populations and SCFAs concentrations." (in mice)https://t.co/xi3PKaAxP2

That suggests that you can get away with deactivating TRPV1 activity and still get gut bacterial adjustments via hot peppers to improve metabolic function. https://t.co/JmkdZH9cB5

I'm stumbling my way into more and more indications that metabolic and lipid function are mediated by gut bacteria, and much of our 'drugs' are just acting on that space directly or indirectly. https://t.co/eQ66gOQzxg

I had absent-mindedly chewed on the lozenge like it was a mint. 4mg of nicotine in the stomach really fast => nearly vomited. Looking back, this also seems to be what I experienced with CBG.I did not have any preconceived notions on what it would do.https://t.co/Hlg2AwN0oc

I still don't have a body temperature wearable. :(Did you know that SNUS doesn't seem to cause Periodontitis? I found that surprising.https://t.co/KqpgK1XZHQhttps://t.co/QNAHeWfrun

"recognition that periodontitis is associated with a number of important systemic diseases, include cardio/cerebrovascular diseases, diabetes, respiratory diseases, gastric ulcers, rheumatoid arthritis, obesity, cognitive impairment and even cancers"https://t.co/ocY6M74Joo

I need to get a good batch of snus to see if it improves my crohn's symptoms.https://t.co/PoH2n9PAh9

"Sweden had the lowest prevalence of daily cigarette use in the European Union [...] World Health Organisation in 2018 indicated that Sweden had the lowest rate of tobacco-related mortality and the lowest incidence of male lung cancer. " https://t.co/eKV9eGSjCo

"Aim The present study aims to elucidate the potential causal association between tobacco use (smoking and snus) and Covid-19 using a population-based cohort study." https://t.co/qimOBQuGLk(Estimated Primary Completion Date August 31, 2021)https://t.co/B7AmNTXaoj

"Our cross-sectional study strongly suggests that those who smoke every day are much less likely to develop a symptomatic or severe infection with Sars-CoV-2 compared with the general population,"https://t.co/91cwjQSJJD

Smoking seems to both increase the expression while also lead to degradation of ace2 receptors. There are also weird ties between M.S. and Crohn's disease along that same pathway. What does this mean? https://t.co/L52qu7jI6p

It seems like SNUS might not contribute to the disease, but smoking does? This is very unintuitive.https://t.co/6ODZTbw28c
