@b_cavello I'm on the fence. I'm hoping I might get more insight as a learn more about midwifery history. My current guess is that it may depend on stuff like blood loss /. iron and maybe nutritionally related to preeclampsia. Might be more relevant for some people vs others.

My dad is a professional nurse who's always worked "baylor hours". They phased that out because it cost too much. My suspicion is that the compensation for those weird weekend hours and sleep issues is overlooked and plays a role in decline in nursing jobs being filled.
