Fucking coca cola.https://t.co/YNq9ZmltsX https://t.co/qdT2iIPwVS

Fucking pepsihttps://t.co/X6TJ5oYbIj https://t.co/sZPpV7vhgo

I bought a bag of trail mix that has probiotics in it.There were about 40 bags of the stuff in the discount store. It's a walmart brand. Its Bacillus coagulans GBI-30, 6086,the same strain in GT's kombucha, and In Suja/Tropacana https://t.co/PBurynx0vs

Kevita uses Bacillus Coagulans "LactoSpore" MTCC 5856 derived from Cranberry Seeds. I can't find out if there is a human derived strain of Cougulans, but there are a tons of different seeds that use variations of it to protect themselves; its fundamentally a soil bacteria.

Its one of the bacteria that we might be able to use to increase crop yield while reducing use of excess fertilizer.https://t.co/MydlDlMDUw

"KeVita Master Brew Kombucha (owned by PepsiCo) heat pasteurizes its kombucha but adds the well-documented probiotic strain Bacillus coagulans LactoSpore MTCC 5856 afterwards, enabling it to claim 'live probiotics' on the front of pack."https://t.co/oCqBwWgSHx

AquaVitea never responded and I can't for the life of me find any reference to what bacteria they use. It tasted like an uncarbonated skunked beer with a bit of lactic acid. https://t.co/u27ESXWDmE

Some people drink pepsi, some people drink coke. The illusion of brand choice makes this whole thing a joke.https://t.co/zEGfOd03Qp

Muh sugar prices are too damn high."The most straightforward of these is the higher prices borne by retail consumers of sugar, as well as intermediate users, ranging from bakers to confectioners to soft-drink makers."https://t.co/eRFC9Wi6bT

Those pesky millennial government programs are taking muh profits.https://t.co/kU1d3UneHY https://t.co/1ETo7zmS6k

Thankfully, Suja is not actually owned by coca cola, they're just partnering with them to 'democratize' the best juice.https://t.co/Cqrw4AtGLE

I am personally looking forward to peaness yogurt.https://t.co/ellyQoNnNy

Suja health shots, with peaness milk? https://t.co/YvGvWYRXvuMore likely than you think.https://t.co/fSYGkyFWLu

Since Juicero didn't take off, is it possible that Suja, being backed by coca-cola, may actually get market share?https://t.co/D35JVZ9P66

I find it interesting that the former president of Coca-Cola ended up becoming CEO of Juicero. Was he trying to get ahead of the supply chain for juice?https://t.co/n5VLcI2vjf

We are Coca-Cola. Fill in your brand moats and surrender your Juicers. We will add your biological and technological distinctiveness to our own.Your probiotic cultures will adapt to service us.We have the best cold presses.Resistance is futile.

What I find really funny is that 'cold pressed juice' is literally older than apple cider. Here's a guy who built his own.https://t.co/MmlDxarOUj

Probiotic apple juice is just hard cider. Prove me wrong.A tale so old it has become a myth.https://t.co/UjUbXUxBU7

Does anybody know if they're bothering to catalog bacteria found in animal breast milk? This thing seems old enough that they might not have thought to do so, much less consider the ramifications of sterilizing it for long term storage.https://t.co/O0z0C8IyxQ

I'd bet money that captive animals have different breast milk microbe species than wild ones for much the same reason that we see variation in human milk production, but further compounded by the forces that lead to this effect: https://t.co/MgwOq2NfMJ

The way we're going, you're going to be seeing "active" coffee.https://t.co/9T3HiBoyAZhttps://t.co/7evzNR2aBn

I can no longer recommend @huelusa. latest version is going to contain "kombucha powder" and that mass produced 'Bacillus Coagulans MTCC 5856' that is similar to 'Bacillus coagulans GBI-30, 6086' that is in everything these days.Literally competes w/ bacteria I want in my gut.

"None of this has prevented probiotics from becoming more popular. In 2012, almost four million Americans used them. In 2014, the global market for probiotics was more than $32 billion."https://t.co/ZTNcP896GJ*quiet screaming in my head*https://t.co/VyEw7Ohy8O

Ya'll ready for some probiotic ('I can't believe its not fermented milk butter') low fat spread?https://t.co/WolZ6OqaYN

I hate thishttps://t.co/LeOjQeXHMd

Hooray, I'm getting #adnoyances for nut milk. Gonna have to see which of these is safe to make yogurt with.https://t.co/FuBURmDihG
