Likes/dislikes are computed via an eventually consistent layer. This happens on YouTube videos, especially popular ones due to replication.Twitter likes hide this; are saved+added on client b/c are not always updated in real time due to limitations caused by the CAP theorem. https://t.co/Q3YF3TDpVM

Options:1) A misunderstanding of how likes work, and YouTube isn't designed to account for it. Just looks bad.2) He is tricking you into trying to click the dislike button (unlikely?).3) The CAP theorem limitations are actually being used to hide nefarious doings upstream?

5) Being a high profile reporter of military drones etc: Him and all the friends he's got to attempt it are all being secretly gas-lit by the same agency and are intercepting their likes via a backdoor.(I actually rate this option fairly high myself.)

6) like are fake, all social media is a lie meant to control your mind. The conspiracy theories are true and this is MKultra's social media side in action.(I have family who would believe this; but they also believe in big-foot and are legitimately ghost hunters. No joke.)

8) Controversy of the video might have triggered an anti-sock puppet mechanism; Its actually hiding dislikes by legitimate users: it thinks they are automated. Clicking on dislike button to 'test' it is giving system false positives. People are reading into it as a conspiracy.

9) 1,2,3,6,7,8 are all true. This is the result of a metapsyop by MKultra (or 'the russians' / 'china') to convince more people to watch the video and get mad again. I have fallen for the trap by redirecting your attention toward it and I am sorry.
