A couple of nights I had trouble sleeping so I decided to count. I think counting in multiples of 7 is hardest. But interestingly after a while you start recognising the pattern. The last digit follows a loop: 7...4...1...8...5...2...9...6...3...0... and then it loops

1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 8 and 9 are all easy 3 and 7 are hard 2...4...6...8...0 4...8...2...6...0 5...0 6...2...8...4...0 8...6...4...2...0 9...8...7...6...5...4...3...2...1...0 Easy 3...6...9...2...5...8...1...4...7...0 a little tough 7 is just confusing

There’s a lesson in here about breaking down big things into their constituent parts. I love words, but rather than learn lots of new words as independent things I like to understand how words work and come together. Words have families and histories, they’re all related https://t.co/YlwaFTKEo1

I don’t like memorizing arbitrary strings if I can help it. So the thing about 7s is also to break it down into its constituents: 1+6, 2+5, 3+4 and 10-3 https://t.co/QAElTqizfP
