It’s worth pointing out that sourcelanders are usually quite happy to see people abroad playing with their culture (except when disrespecting religion). What I’m curious about is – do Chinese students in Chinese schools and Universities have some sort of prom? What do they wear to that? Here in Singapore, it’s very rare to see Chinese Singaporean girls wear traditional attire to prom – though this is on the verge of changing

Exactly what I suspected - Chinese girls in China don’t wear traditional outfits. It would be embarrassingly old fashioned. Qipaos are for white girls 🧐 https://t.co/sb6TqWRp3E
