One often overlooked aspect of echo chambers: by isolating, perhaps unintentionally, you're also not able to communicate outside it either.

There's a lot of strong voices on social media, many with powerful ideas & perspectives, who sadly end up preaching to the converted.

There's nothing wrong with screaming into the void. It is cathartic and I do it too. but if you seek change minds, one must reach byond.

This may be uncomfortable to think, but for many: trolls and randos in their mentions are better at reaching outside of their echo chambers.
