If that doesn't work. Consider studying slime mold... https://t.co/2PecjSzqpK

"Chemotaxis" (via humans?) "a pivotal response of many cell types to external spatial cues"https://t.co/XhJ3n6nWO6 https://t.co/sMacaUIMGv

We are machines slime mold built to increase environmental ATP.Complex ATP processors.https://t.co/eOlVoSSC0b https://t.co/aJo9QZMTz2

How do complex dynamic systems (evolution) adapt to existential threats? Black Swans? Hmm...https://t.co/8YNkxWn0Wd https://t.co/NQLZjSIOXd

Am I crazy for believing in using swarms of robotic ants to colonize mars?Yes.https://t.co/aHFezJ2cNW

Stigmergic Synergy. To build toward mars, build for home first. Most human problems don't go away when we colonize.https://t.co/Dr8CL0NEbI

Musk on regulations:"If you are working on rocket technology, that's considered an advanced weapons technology..." https://t.co/KgWjlE6pTE

Rockets, Batteries, Solar are covered. What we need is Mars-like orientation in industries for other human problems.https://t.co/aFdDQl8xR8

Methane powered mars rockets? Greenhouse gas is a great way for slime mold to engineer an environment for more food.https://t.co/CkNnniKCOZ

My conspiracy theory: The rise in cyanobacteria was a direct result of a feedback due to slime mold shenanigans. https://t.co/m12et2hBwQ

Seriously though. Slime mold poop feedback loops lead to oxygen.https://t.co/ZnHNRpXvBL https://t.co/w4IDJFrP00

... And oxygen leads to more complex lifeforms that inevitably take care of growing slime mold's favorite food.https://t.co/8iq1cAnm8Y https://t.co/6ziu4V1wcm

It's a conspiracy: Policy makers use statistical shenanigans to mislead about impact of cow farts. #WakeUp #sheeplehttps://t.co/XyQuDrGJhj https://t.co/V3ooprl65B

Jokes aside... Complex ecological interactions of slimemold and cyanobacteria are important to understand: https://t.co/Jq2R7abSMy

Did you hear that SpaceX want's to use "Robotic Mining Drones" to live in underground bunkers? #AntsOnMars https://t.co/FA0QcjezrO https://t.co/X64a0zIbi3

Based on the latest reddit AMA, @elonmusk is literally laying the groundwork for my dreams. Thank you!https://t.co/A4NOASt4mc

Technically, he says "mining/tunneling droids", but close enough. These *ARE* the droids I'm looking for.https://t.co/SoWnrShpdy https://t.co/2910pYVDeB

If you have trouble imaging a cyborg slime mold in your imaginating…it looks a lot like a crab.🦀🐜 https://t.co/XTp9DlyFNr

If cyanobacteria had a spoken language, they'd tell jokes to plantae about how animalia is breathing tree farts. 😂https://t.co/sKpGTPemqi https://t.co/j6Y3x8Nq8Y

Cow farts and tree farts. Methane, and Oxygen. But what about ATP?https://t.co/2VJIhQZ9Hg https://t.co/nqHuoAwMEo

Oh wait, they're using the ATP subsystem to do that, haha.https://t.co/g9UrNFnJBS https://t.co/oLmkYjqar1

When throwing darts, you can improve your aim, or you can make your misses count for more by having overlapping targets. https://t.co/iKwbFfBHQG

Reading about how Apple's new campus has a 'breathing' ventilation system: they've done their research.https://t.co/TbyPUoifb5 https://t.co/83thb7wK5F

Did someone say robotic mining drones? @BuiltRobotics is making automatic digging robots for construction jobs.https://t.co/6Hr5OC2ePo

@BuiltRobotics Oh neat, they're using ROS and python. Same stack I settled on when trying to do that for lawnmowing ants.https://t.co/rgRCrR6mSa

Also in my feed: those martian bricks from back in April. Tl;DR: a swarm of brick laying robotic termites anyone?https://t.co/fLbovKl1is

Here's the paper they published on the bricks: https://t.co/o053GQ1c9n - found it while researching 'air crete'.https://t.co/OslDC95U6B

The @wyssinstitute had done some stuff on swarms of brick laying robots in 2014: https://t.co/cZbAHpG3mh Hope it syncs up.

Can you create a foaming version of ice using materials found on mars? Carbonated Ice?https://t.co/azgezelEih

Oh wait, that's just ice cream. Can we use algea farts to build insulated ice igloos?https://t.co/9BUg76WNPz https://t.co/VK9Uv8mY1l

Robotic termites with bacteria in their gut that produce ice cream on demand?https://t.co/b2wNcq8tg2

I'm… not joking:Real life termites are basically a swarm of biological 3d printers using their butts as glue guns.https://t.co/349OTHzXgS https://t.co/KuibeIKmtg

I want to own a successful gelato company... so I can build ice cream pooping robots for mars.https://t.co/fmqu0Fniky

So yeah. Guy who invented roomba built a solar powered lawn mowing robot. https://t.co/tk2kQuMXCr https://t.co/NINgIHW6TM

Same wheel design. Same passive solar power design. Same cutting mechanism. Cutting mechanism works really well btw.https://t.co/Mdx0A5SRbO

Solar powered swarms of robot ants?!I'm so happy that someone made it where I couldn't @JoeRobotJones https://t.co/R105xfZJUI

I spent so many hours trying to figure out a simple way to make the robot mud-proof. Don't have notes, but the angled thin disk is a design they're using is the same as one I found from in a custom designed vehicles for a muddling competition. It works really well.

Replicated it by using strips of hotglue on the cd-rom and angling the motors. 95% of the features of https://t.co/qed6Al76YA with simple parts.

Its why I know about this stuff:"This simulation utilizes a virtual "sand box" to test how planetary rovers respond to different terrains while traversing them."https://t.co/rijDRC21TL

Visually based mapping systems to help coordinate a swarm of gardening robots? yes please.https://t.co/0MxRlFP9wI

I'd really love to know if @john_c_chase went with a clockwork spring mechanism to store energy for the cutting blade. https://t.co/C4HXUlfLcU We thought about it for a bit, but didn't fit cutting grass. would work for single weeds tho!

I can personally vouch for people behind this project being in the blockchain game for more than a profit. They know drones and want to solve interesting real world problems involved in delivery in a way that is truly a distributed common good. https://t.co/lw8aAgRHcd

I have no skin in the game with them. I don't own any tokens and have no money to be able to support them. But their idea is one of a handful of ICOs that I would contribute to in a heartbeat. Not as an investor, but just to see their ideas take flight.

Delivery drones are coming. Either we bootstrap systems that create an open distributed market for anyone, or we watch big corporate platforms slowly eat their way into being the soul provider & begin rent seeking the commons. The everything store should belong to everyone.
