Instagram kept nagging me to post something so I posted some shit: https://t.co/zjvEjQlvdR

How to learn a new social network: http://t.co/YsmLKf4Cv8

I've stopped using Instagram now that every 4th post is an advertisement. I haven't posted since October. What started as a way for me to share my world and connect with people is now just another vehicle advertisers use to inject their bullshit into my world.

I've been using @useintent to cut down on my twitter usage. I've been aiming to only @ replying now. I've cut my time to 1/8th of what it was. Thanks!https://t.co/0IDJrzPDxX

My posting here was sometimes 100+ a day, averaging maybe 40. I'm now averaging 7, with many days seeing 0.Net impressions was at 500k/mo spiking to 2.5million/mo, might be less than 100k soon.Trying to break need to search my threads and @ reply.https://t.co/NTQqhMAXnq

I see things that upset me, but I can't control it. Twitter has decided that it needs to show small accounts more stuff to increase engagement, which means filling my feed with tweets that aren't RTd.I don't like it here anymore. It brings me sadness.https://t.co/mghfMyh6Xs

Twitter screams at me to come back. Shows me juicy tweets. Alas, all I see in it's aimless flailing is more proof that the swarm cognition effect I sought is being tainted by algorithms geared for endless growth.https://t.co/wJEWwrmFWk

@shaftgunk @Crypto_Magus @naval Twitter's algorithms meant to encourage engagement seem to boost the polarizing effect of herds. Be careful using volume of responses as a signal of interest. This particular feature is artificially biasing the spread of an idea vs the organic reach effect of RTs: https://t.co/LG2Pbx2Uji

But I'm the one screaming.https://t.co/BIauEL92FQ

@AREdotNA Twitter is showing me tweets by people I'm not following. Your showing me other people's likes was bad enough. All the time I spent curating my feed to show me content is now useless.I'm now in 3 slacks, 2 discords, and 4 alt social networks. Can't jump ship fast enough.
