It's odd to me that content isn't yet optimized for Tinder-style cards. It's nicer to swipe cards aside than scroll through an endless feed

Twitter's 140 char limit was meant to encourage people to feel comfortable creating content. That's now a solved problem IMHO

Would be great if content were delivered to me in Tinder-style cards. Headline and summary (gimme the punchline, no clickbait please)

You could then swipe left what you want to receive less of, right what you want more of, and then be shown your algorithm and allowed to mod

I guess FB, Twitter etc ultimately have to optimize for ad revenue and so things like user growth matter more than optimal content delivery

(I often spend time thinking about how the highest quality content on the Web can be best presented, delivered, archived. Still suboptimal.)

Monetization will be almost impossible, I think. I imagine it'll have to be a passion project run by volunteers. It'll have to be atomized

I imagine it'll be quite similar to a Wiki model, but the focus will be on cataloguing and INTERPRETING stuff (requires editorial input)

I'm really disappointed about what Quora is like these days. Of course, I'm ignorant of the immense challenges they must be facing...
