@HormoneHangover makes complete sense if you see it from the practitioners' perspectives: they don't want to be liable for someone else's decision. it's not about what's best for the patient, it's about who can be held responsible.

@Birdsbirdbird I think that’s right. But their calculus may change if any of the detrans lawsuits find the practice was negligent and they bear responsibility anyway
