@RichDecibels This is the network effect - tidy your own corner of the world and discard the ambition to change the world - and by doing so - earnestly committing to the task, you change the world. This is why bicycles and local urban realm matter so much.

This is the way. The individual is the fabric of society. If the individual isn’t healthy, society isn’t healthy. - Next the family (children, parents, and grandparents) is the next unit of the fabric of society - The next unit is the village/tribe (can be up to 70 people but no more according to the Danes and they are the only folks to study it extensively) - Then the neighborhood/local scene - Then the city - Then the regions - Then the states/provinces - Then the country - Then the planet/global human society https://t.co/YRNDj85Qpa

At each level, if there is a break down, societal fabric breaks in one way or another. Everyone agrees you can’t have a healthy fabric if your country is being invaded and destroyed by a more powerful aggressor. And many folks want a strong state/province. But unfortunately below that many recent left movements don’t value a strong and healthy city or neighborhood. And go so far as to see having children (families) as a bad thing. And go further to say the individual (of non in group) is guilty and should be punished for existing. This selective caring for parts of society is quite dangerous. We need all parts to be championed and loved.

@RichDecibels I dislike the status smuggling this meme does. I think there is an argument here, but it's not about status it's about what actual people believe or what is right to do. Is there a survey of what people think on this issue by intelligence?
