@fomosurfer This is very dispiriting for me personally because to the extent it's true, it confirms that attraction was never a bottleneck for me and the things that actually stop me from getting dates are even harder to influence

@fomosurfer This is just selection bias. Extroverted exuberant people tend to meet a lot of people who are also extroverted and exuberant and then they have sex. Passion for something seems to be universally attractive tho.

@fomosurfer Many if not most people are attracted to energy, and that energy gives life to appearance. They know who is regarded as high-status in appearance, but have little real interest until they read someone's energy. Stress and trying too hard can both dampen energy or make it chaotic.

@fomosurfer Real magnetism isn’t in your jawline or your texts — it’s in the way you exist. People feel it when you’re lit from the inside, when you laugh for real, when your presence isn’t a performance. Aliveness is rare. That’s why it draws people in like gravity.

@fomosurfer No one talks about this, but attraction isn't about tricks or tactics. It isn't about looks or charm. All you need to do is love being alive. Laugh from your gut, get lost in things you care about, stop chasing approval. Life isn't a performance, it's yours.
