@visakanv his opening on "what is a computer" on demystifying the machine makes so clear the influence of Ted Nelson: word is Computer Lib got him into computers (read the intro again in your copy and the "computers are stupid but fast and you shouldn't be scared of them" is the thrust)

@visakanv ooh his defining a computer program as "archetypical", in that it defines a set of laws or constraints and then enables infinite experiences within them and comparing to television programming that capture particular experiences and reproduce them that's nice

@visakanv his master plan so much like Elon's: we want < $1000 radio-linked computer in a book that you carry around, but we can't yet so we're selling a $10,000 comp that fits in a breadbox then we'll sell a $2500 comp that fits in a shoebox then we'll sell the "book", in 5-7 years
