no internal monologue means that you think entirely right brain. protean, preverbal, gnostic. no translation to awkward verbal concretization until the last moment. a direct line to the divine. https://t.co/yhAVKlOhaI

i can't prove this but i suspect this is very efficient something like: imagine running a sequence of operations on data in your ram in one uninterrupted pass before dumping it to storage internal monologue feels like it would be writing to disk after each operation

huuuuh https://t.co/a99ITytJLM

about 30s it started when i read and internalized this post and ended when i realized that this is the message i'd write in response and began translating it https://t.co/3ByRo1Tq57

there are a few iterations on the final verbal output, it's like 1. mind -> text 2. compare text to original idea 3. update text to better match original idea 4. repeat to some fidelity threshold if i don't like where it's converging i pause and go back to reforming the idea

this is excellent https://t.co/XSLdiKpYji

@eigenrobot "Nobody knows"my ass.https://t.co/N0RBNNwaxO

@eigenrobot I do not concern myself with such trivialities as sentence construction, and attend instead to the manipulation of raw ideas. language production is the job of my internal LLM; I pass it latent vectors and it slavishly shovels out words
