One working theory I have is that 80% of the value of a good therapist is quite literally loaning nervous system capacity for the duration of the session — co-regulating and creating enough safety for the client to go inwards.

@jonnym1ller hmm i want to re-frame this because it implies a kind of energy exchange which can lead to entanglement and a short lived therapist. an effective healer maintains a high signal field where the client can go inwards and claim their agency and responsibility to heal
