This perfectly encapsulates the novel, narcissistic “techno-religion” I’ve noticed has permeated mostly thinking-sensate types. We built cathedrals to humbly honor God and reflect his beauty (although we always fail). We’ve built computers to try and become God, for if we supposedly get advanced enough, we can create “consciousness” or sentient A.I. (a fruitless task). It is, of course, pride, that we can create life itself. Instead of honoring God we’ve killed him. How murderous are we humans, puffed up with pride?
