fuck this man https://t.co/hdiNIcxKbB

*iβve* had enough, youβre blocked https://t.co/riKanO5jxw

that's insane. you're ruled over by a trans overclass? the president is trans? everybody is being pushed to trans? no. what has happened is that the historic level of discrimination lead to a counter effort restoring and celebrating pride. there's still plenty of discrimination. people are just getting pushback, occasionally, on some of the most egregious stuff. people are pissed that they can't be openly assholes to trans, and so we're the most protected class? yeah right

n.b. this is explicitly against google's policy for reviews, and can be reported. https://t.co/0FQWiCeVIH

how can be https://t.co/wM8LKd3N1g

this is not an effort to cancel him. heβs going to keep his job, obviously, hell maybe heβll be promoted. responding openly to his dogshit takes, which are cancel culture, lowers his star, and escalates the fight, but iβm sure heβll keep on posting that garbage to his dwindled audience. itβs just the cleverer part of tpot thatβs not going to give him attention ps, when i posted this, i should have used a comma. βfuck this, man.β someone was like βoh this is the rainbow mafia putting out a hitβ no man, itβs not like i have a batsignal. his own words brought the response on him.

going to try to mostly stay out of the tpot trans discourse, but i have one small thing to add:being forced to go through the wrong puberty is a horrible, traumatizing experience. listen to trans kids.hereβs my own story, for anyone who would like to hear it:

in 2006, despite graduating with a first class honors and university medal (highest GPA) in computer science and physics, at 17, I couldn't find work at all (discrimination vs trans, probably, this was in montreal) at some point the bit flipped and I was like "oh, the system doesn't work, I have to take responsibility for creating my own opportunities or I will literally starve" I made a like $$ from winnings from topcoder competitions, and became an entrepreneur. i didn't have my name out there, so I started blogging at https://t.co/Q3UXnU9b79 and posting on hacker news. I applied to YC -- got rejected, but intro'd to amazing startups/founders, and did a little work for them. I slept on couches. I earned my keep making dumplings. I tried to prove my worth to cofounders by working on their projects, telling them about mine. Finally I found someone as excited about my long term projects as I was, and I went from there. at no point did the system pick me up and was like, here's what to do next, here's a job for you -- even though this is really all I wanted at the time -- just some financial stability while I transitioned. no dice, it was hard mode for me -- trans while your company is making you ~famous, have fun with that! but in return the wool was pulled from my eyes -- the system does not provide for you. you simply have to go out and make your own opportunities. but once you do, the world really is open to you

trans people have to put up with a disproportionate level of bile that is absolutely concern trolling most of the time. just try to follow the chain of discussion in my threads on this. one specious argument after another. this gives trans people no option but to put up barriers and avoid spaces where anti woke extremists are repeatedly given the benefit of the doubt.

@kamstq @spiderfoods @yacineMTB when people attack a tiny minority and they stand up to fight it, people on the sidelines saying βi donβt see why weβre fighting, this should be a civil discussionβ could allay their ignorance by surveying the attacks and bile put onto that tiny minority. listen to them
