still a so much alpha in asking people "what's the tweet-sized version of X?" where X is some remark the person has made/implied but not explained/unpacked "tweet-sized version" makes it SO clear that it doesn't need to be an adequate answer, merely an answer at all https://t.co/d5seshGRGd

a mere "saying of the obvious as it seems to me", not anything that is supposed to convince you https://t.co/BdyrRowK5p

nor an attempt at a canon introduction to something! https://t.co/9hJJfkz6tV

@visakanv found a next size above tweet—a 1-page bullet outline written in one sitting having these constraints visibly as part of the frame of the writing makes it clear it should be held to a lower standard, not compared to some hypothetical perfection https://t.co/nNcpNzpI48

btw—I'm looking for people to co-write with in this style, whether one-pager sized or more like a 2h exam. but whatever you have at the end is what you publish! learn more & sign up here: https://t.co/7WvKUKPy2b

WRITING IT LIVE challenge Let's write for each other and publish it. Here's the game: Bring a few blurbs of ideas you could write up (max 1 tweet or graphic in length). Based on those (and maybe pre-existing familiarity with your work) I'll tell you what I want to read about. Then you for me. Then we each write it up with the other person as audience, as best we can in the time allotted. If you book a 30min block, this might be a bullet-point "explain it in one breath standing on one foot" summary—these can be great! Or maybe something longer. Before we end the call, whatever each of us has written either gets: 1. published to blog/stack/newsletter/etc 2. emailed to a few people either of us choose (this option costs the writer $30) Interested? Reply below and I'll DM you a scheduling link.
