I enjoyed this series of essays, and a microsite essay series with a PDF version is a very neat form factor, if one has a thesis one wants to spread. https://t.co/NJavoBjgQF

“Any point of view on the substance?” Seems obvious to me that bullish on AI is directionally correct; seems obvious to me this community of practice more correct than other smart generally well-informed people about general shape of future.

I cannot possibly underline this paragraph enough. https://t.co/qL1oiRgvxO

I also liked the line about “people with situational awareness have a lower cost basis in Nvidia than you do” and while I own no Nvidia I think this is a more persuasive investment memory than many I’ve seen in my life.

@AskYatharth If you have a position in a stock, your cost basis is the total amount you spent to purchase that stock. This person is implying ~“We successfully predicted the future—easy to do while building it—and bought Nvidia when it was cheap. It has since gone far up. It is still cheap.”

I quoted this line inexactedly and while I believe I preserved the substance will correct record, since people could reasonably read that as being a quote rather than a paraphrase. https://t.co/bu5vZgvduB

A previous articulation of this thought. I had several more in 2021 when I realized that there was a reason nobody competent had relieved the bingo guy yet. “Good news bad news, folks: we ARE the cavalry.” https://t.co/z23Ikir4wp

@patio11 Thank you for that, I've started reading it and didn't know what to think about it, it's nice to have the point of view from someone less into AI (I think?) than the people I usually read. I'll finish it this weekend
