ime it seems false that kids have a short attention span? they seem to have very long attention span—if it's something they're interested in they just have a short attention span for boring adult things like reading and homework https://t.co/rih8KV9wPk

it's funny because attention span is definitely something babies have to develop over time like they can't pay attention to a visual focus or a mouth or a sound that much when they're born

so maybe by that logic, kids can't pay attention to "boring adult work" focus and we should in fact treat that as a genuine skill and point of development? idk
