I've never met someone who scores high in neuroticism who didn't benefit from knowing that they score high in neuroticism. Being neurotic and self-aware can actually work with others. It's the neurotics who lack self-awareness that cause problems, as they project their inner dissonance on the world and believe it's out there objectively.

@algekalipso Neuroticism might also disguise itself as self-awareness. I've been there. Not a very nice place to be. I thought I was practicing self-awareness, but in hindsight it was just my toxic superego shitting down on me, leading my attention to everything that is wrong with me.
